ENDURANCE TRIALS
Our Inaugural Endurance Trial in 2014 was a great success!
Despite the less than ideal weather conditions, 18 dogs completed the trial and earned their ANKC Endurance Title! There were smiles and laughs aplenty as the handlers and their dogs completed the 20km course and concluded with the Willingness Test, to demonstrate their dog’s willingness to work under fatigue to our Judge Michael Stuart.
The sense of fraternity and good spirits was a true credit to all there on the day and we trust all exhibitors had a great time.
This Endurance Test was an important initiative for our club and our breed, as we continue to promote the complete Amstaff and encourage owners to get out and enjoy various sporting activities with their dogs. Of course none of this could have been possible without the amazing work of our many wonderful helpers and so a big thank you goes to all the club members who assisted on the day (too many to name), our Head Vet Dr. Jacqui Ley and her wonderful Vet Nurses, our DOGS Victoria Representative Wendy Ganly, our official photographer Kellie Jayne Photography and of course our fantastic Judge Michael Stuart.

The ASTCV will be hosting its 3rd Endurance Trial on Sunday 8th May 2016 (pending VCA Approval) at Springers Leisure Centre in Keysborough.
